Water Industry Cleaners

Water systems have traditionally been limited to two options when cleaning or inspecting a reservoir or storage tank, empty the tank or send in the divers.

Both choices are costly, labour intensive and raise confined space safety issues. In addition, both options may require taking the tank/reservoir off line, which can disrupt the distribution system, resulting in loss of storage capacity and possible water quality problems.

Now there is a safer, less expensive way to clean and inspect water tanks and reservoirs – without taking them off line.

Weda have developed systems that use remote operated submersible vehicles to clean and inspect the bottoms of reservoirs without draining them or using divers.
